Trust Factory is organizing two online workshops that cover interesting and demanding areas such as: Server Consolidation, Migration and Optimization.

DNA® Workshops are intended for IT Managers, Architects and Professionals with a technical background who need to overcome Operational Challenges and execute complex projects.

Lotus Notes performance issues addressed
Duration: 25 Minutes
This workshop walks through a list of typical performance issues and how we identify these. The Workshop will show how DNA reveals Quick Wins that offer immediate relief in terms of performance, stability, security, administration and user satisfaction

I. Server Performance & Platform Health
• Server tuning by identifying bottlenecks (e.g. namelookoupcachepool, memory-leaks, and OS & Domino tuning parameters)
• Root cause analysis for performance issues (server, network, mail, applications)
II. Server, Web & Database Security
• HTTP password analysis reveals weak passwords
• Mail Routing Forensics (also towards competition)
• Database ACL analysis to reveal wide-open databases
III. Anomalies in Directory Documents & Deployed Databases
• In depth integrity checks into directory deployment (item conflicts, nested and cyclic groups, obsolete items and waste)
• Integrity checks on all databases deployed: template conflicts, duplicate replicas, consistency checks
IV. How to Identify Heavy User Accounts and Databases
• Mail files and application databases causing excessive network traffic and server load
• User accounts that consume more than 50% of all your resources
• Top heavy emailers and mail recipients both internal and internet
V. Benchmarking: How does your Domino environment compare to others?

Lotus Notes Server Consolidation – Network Analysis the way it should be
Duration: 35 Minutes
This Workshop is focussed on Server Consolidation. Key words are Network, User Concurrency and sizing parameters.
Reduce Project risk and understand the Server Consolidation potential per office location… fact based.

• Understand the difference between Network traffic as seen today by your Network and real end user traffic
• Consolidation overview per office location
• Network in APAC and its challenges
• A deep dive into sizing…Sizing parameters consists of 3 key areas:

-Network: DNA can compute the consequences of any change in your server topology;
-Server Load: DNA server sizing parameters allow you to produce a detailed RFP to vendors
-Storage: Target storage is calculated for each consolidation scenario, taken growth ratios into account
